Fine wine in a tropical climate – it’s a tricky combination of several challenges, particularly evident during both transportation and storage. Our very own Brumms Quality Wines, Inc. however, has over three decades of expertise in delivering wine in a pristine condition, whether it’s to a restaurant or customer’s doorstep.
Lemuria and Brumms Quality Wines, Inc. are as inseparable as wine is to French cuisine. In fact, the Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant is built on this foundation – quite literally. For nestled beneath our restaurant’s main dining room lies an inventory of 20,000 bottles of finely select New World and Old World wines.
Our 50 square meter cellar dates back to the early ‘90s when it was one of the first of its kind in the country. Controlled at a constant 18-20 degrees Celsius all bottles are stored in traditional metal bins. The diversity of wines on offer is both staggering and far reaching. German Rieslings from entry level to Grand Crus come strong with labels of world class winemakers the likes of Gunderloch, Schloss Lieser and Bassermann Jordan. Certified organic wines from Austria are well represented by reputable winemakers like Loimer and Gernot Heinrich.
Value for money wines from Romania, Chile and Argentina vie for attention from neophytes and the simply curious soul. While wine searchers, will have a tantalizing reckoning with Schubert wines from Martinborough New Zealand, Achaval Ferrer and Dominio del Plata from Argentina. While for the most discerning palette let us show you our modest yet exacting collection of Bordeaux and Burgundies.
The wine culture has emerged in our midst and we think it is time to open our cellar to all you wine souls and searchers. We invite one and all to drop by and pick up a bottle or two – special surprise discounts may apply.
